How do we add our own Staff Absence categories to ScholarPack, as your list doesn't have all the ones we use?


This allows you to generate your own set of absence categories.  For each category you can associate the appropriate DfE absence type which will comply with the Workforce census.  The staff absence report will show details of these codes.  

The table will list all those absence codes currently within ScholarPack including the standard DfE listed staff absence reasons.  You will also have the option to create a new code.


At this point you can generate an absence code, a description of the code, give the code a DfE absence category if you wish it to be include in the Workforce census and an absence type.



Once you have created a new absence code and BEFORE you have used it to record a staff absence, you can edit and delete the code. 



Once you have used the absence code, you cannot change any detail about the code. 



You also have the option to remove any default codes that you do not wish to use and have not yet been used within ScholarPack to record a staff absence.



 Listed will be the absence codes that you can delete.  Select those you wish to delete and select 'Delete'.
