Teachers can make positive comments about students in the Markbook under My Subjects
Go to My Subjects> (Select Class) > Positive Referrals. You will find this area here:
When you click on Positive Referrals for this assessment class, a table appears displaying the student name and how many Positive Referrals they have had that academic year. Click on More Info and you will see the comment and date applied.
To enter a new comment, click on Add New, select the student, then provide the comment under Reason, followed by Save.
All positive comments recorded here are displayed in the Live Feed on the Dashboard, with the student name, year group, and the teacher who made the Positive Referral.
Positive Referrals entered in the Markbook can be reported on in Reporting > Reports > Conduct (tab) > Positive Referrals
Set the Year Group or Form, date range, or how many days you wish to report on, then click Choose to run the report. A table will appear with student name, form and the number of Postive Referrals they've had in the period selected. Clicking on More Details will show each positive comment that the student has received with the date applied.
This report also displays Positive Referrals made on the student profile's Conduct tab, where additional fields can be used (Conduct Reason and Points awarded).
