Student Profile > Conduct (Tab)

This tab allows you to see positive and negative conduct referrals, merits, housepoints, incidents and exclusions. You can change the name of a number of these terms in Admin > Config > Custom Relabelling

1. Overview

 

This tab allows you to see positive and negative conduct referrals, merits, housepoints, incidents and exclusions.  The first page that is shown on initial selection is the Overview page.

The graph is a summary of the main conduct areas broken down month by month. You can remove elements from the graph by clicking on the items in the key below the graph.

You can also expand each element on a month by month basis by clicking on it within the bar chart.

2. Housepoints

This can record Housepoints earned by pupils in your school. On initial selection you will see a bar chart showing the number of housepoints awarded each month to the selected student.  

If you click on each monthly summary, you will get a breakdown of the award of housepoints during the month.

You can return to a monthly summary of awards by using the Back to Housepoints button at the top right of the graph.  

You also have the option to view the information as a table and to add/remove housepoints by using the View Table.

This will show when housepoints were awarded, a reason if recorded and the option to remove the award.To return to a graphical view, use the:

You can also add  or remove Housepoints to a students profile using the area above the bar chart.You can type in the number of Housepoints or use the up/down arrows to set the required figure.  Use the Add or Remove button to complete the process.

3. Merits

 

This can record Merits earned by pupils in your school. On initial selection you will see a bar chart showing the number of merits awarded each month to the selected student.  

If you click on each monthly summary, you will get a breakdown of the award of the merits during the month.You can return to a monthly summary of awards by using the Back to Merits button at the top right of the graph. You also have the option to view the information as a table.

This will show when merits were awarded, a reason if recorded and the option to remove the award.

You can also add  or remove Merits to a students profile using the area above the bar chart.

You can type in the number of Merits or use the up/down arrows to set the required figure.  Use the Add or Remove button to complete the process.

4. Positive Referrals

 

This can record Positive Referrals earned by pupils in your school. On initial selection you will see a bar chart showing the number of Positive Referrals awarded each month to the selected student.  If you click on each monthly summary, you will get a breakdown of the award of the Positive Referrals during the month.You can return to a monthly summary of awards by using the Back to Positive Referrals button at the top right of the graph. You also have the option to view the information as a table and to add/remove Positive Referrals by using the View Table.

This will show when Positive Referrals were awarded, a reason if recorded and the option to remove the award.You can also add a Positive Referral to a students profile using the add button above the bar chart. To set up the positive referrals navigate to Admin > Config > Conduct Reasons.

 

You can also add the same referral to another student using the Add additional students function.

5. Referral

 

This can record Referrals earned by pupils in your school. On initial selection you will see a bar chart showing the number of Referrals awarded each month to the selected student.  If you click on each monthly summary, you will get a breakdown of the award of the Referrals during the month.You can return to a monthly summary of awards by using the Back to Referrals button at the top right of the graph.  You also have the option to view the information as a table and to add/remove Referrals by using the Manage/View Table.

This will show when referrals were awarded, a reason if recorded, a tag, any follow up details and the option to remove the referral.

You can also add a Referral to a students profile using the 'add' button above the bar chart.

 

You can type in the detail of the award, use a tag if set up in Admin > Config and award the number of referrals.  You can also add the same referral to another student using the Add additional students function.  To set up the referrals navigate to Admin > Config > Conduct Reasons.

6. Minuses

This can record Minuses earned by pupils in your school. On initial selection you will see a bar chart showing the number of minuses awarded each month to the selected student. If you click on each monthly summary, you will get a breakdown of the award of the minuses during the month.You can return to a monthly summary of awards by using the Back to Minuses button at the top right of the graph. You also have the option to view the information as a table and to add/remove Minuses by using the Manage/View Table.

7. Detentions

 

This allows you to record detentions awarded to pupils in your school. On initial selection you will see a bar chart showing the number of detentions awarded each month to the selected student.  
If you click on each monthly summary, you will get a breakdown of the award of the detentions during the month. 

Add Detention

You also have the option to view the information as a table and to add a detention.

This will show when detentions have been awarded, a reason, details and the date to be completed by.   You can also sign off the detention as having been completed or delete the detention if needed. The school are able to set up their own reasons for issuing a detention in Admin > Config > Detention Reasons.

8. Standards

 

The Standards Monitor within Conduct is a record of which Standards the student is being monitored for by the school. The items being monitored are set by the school (Standards Monitor Settings) and the table reflects which standards have and are currently being monitored.

On initial selection you will see a table showing which standards have been monitored in the past and those that are currently be watched.  

Above the table you will see each standard the school has set up.

When you click on the standard you have the option either to initiate a period of monitoring in which case the icon will go from green to red.  You can also finish a period of monitoring by click on a red standard, in which case it will go green. You will also see that the table updates as you start and complete periods of monitoring. 

The delete button allows you to delete a monitoring record. 

The process of initiating a period of monitoring can also be done through Standards Monitor in My Subjects.

9. Incidents

 

This can record incidents at the school and any pupil involvement. On initial selection you will see a bar chart showing the number of minuses awarded each month to the selected student.  If you click on each monthly summary, you will get a breakdown of the incidents during the month.

You can return to a monthly summary of incidents by using the Back to Incidents button at the top right of the graph.  

You also have the option to view the information as a table and to add Incidents by using the Manage/View Table.

This will show when incidents occurred, details, role and the option to edit the information. 

Manage

To add an incident click on Add.  You can then add details about the incident. The zone and incident type are set up by the school in Admin > Config > Incidents. Back to contents

 

 

10. Exclusions

 

This part of the profile shows any current exclusions.

From here you can edit the details and you can also delete the entire entry by clicking Delete.

Edit

The edit function allows you to change any details for an existing exclusion.

To add a new exclusion period use the Add function.

11. Historical

 

Click on the word Historical and you can view pervious academic years conduct records. 



Click on an individual conduct area to view more information.
