Intervention set up with separated intervention groups and costs

Go to Workspace > Interventions and on the first Overview page click on Add New

                                                               

To set up a new intervention group choose the year group that the pupils are in, or Multi if spread over more than one year group.  Choose next a group name and an Effective From date as the start of the academic year and an Effective To date as the end.

Your group will now appear in the overview page..  From here, or from the tab at the top of the page you can add students to the group.  Click Add Students to Groups.

You can do this a year group at a time or highlight all year groups to bring up all students.  To add students to the group, simply click onto the student’s name at which point a red border will appear to show they have been added.

 

To remove, just click again and the border will disappear. Remember to save any changes you have made.

Over the space of the year, students can be added or removed from the group allowing you to see which students are in or have been in the group.

Students in the intervention group will now show on all reports with an ‘I’ aspect allowing you to filter reports.  They can also be selected by choosing them as a Dynamic Group from the group dropdown.

To add a cost to the provision, click onto the ‘Configure Groups’ tab at the top of the page. Choose the intervention group from the dropdown.

Add the ‘Total Minutes per Week’ and any predicted costs, for example you can assign one or multiple staff members to the group with the cost of their services and also any additional costs such as supplies. Once these are input if you click ‘Estimate Cost’ these will be added together to show the total so far  Also, a ‘Budget (Total)’ can be added to keep a track of current expenditure versus allocation.  Save.

Repeat the above process for all intervention groups you wish to set up and track.

You will also now be able to monitor costs per intervention and per pupil by using the Simple or Complex Provision Map reports.
