There are FSM students not showing up in the FSM dynamic group in the Comms area, why is this?

This is because the students' current FSM period has an end date, which you will need to remove for them to pull through. You can remove this via the student profile(s) or Manage FSM via Admin > Students.

 

Student Profile

  • Please search for the student in the search bar on the right-hand side of the screen
  • Click the extended tab and scroll down to the 'Further Information' Area
  • Click the 'Manage' button next to the field - 'Is X eligible for free meals?' 
  • Click 'Edit' and click 'Delete' for the FSM period with the end date, ensuring you keep a note of the start date
  • Click the 'Manage' button and re-add the FSM period ensuring you do not put an end date

Manage FSM

  • Please go into Admin > Students > Manage FSM
  • Click the 'choose' button to load the FSM eligibility records
  • Here, you can scroll down to find the students to remove the end dates for.
  • To direct you to an individual student quickly, click the 'Find Student by UPN' drop-down menu, search the student by name or UPN, and click the names so that the student's FSM eligibility period(s) show up
  • Once you have found the student in the area, click 'Edit' and click 'Delete' for the FSM period with the end date, ensuring you keep a note of the start date
  • Click the 'Manage' button and re-add the FSM period ensuring you do not put an end date
