For Census purposes a student must have a First Language recorded. This means a language with the language type First:
To add a language go to the student's profile and click the cog next to language in the information below where the photo shows.
Click on Add New, select First Language from the dropdown by Type, and select the Language prior to saving.
If you need to add additional languages, you can click on the cog next to Languages again, Add New, then enter Multiple First Language with the second Language spoken.
