Student contacts are not feeding through on our API, why is this?

 

Question - Student contacts are not feeding through on our API, why is this?

Answer - If you go to Admin>Config>API Configuration, click on API Access next to the API for this company, it will show you if you have set the API to be 1st or 3rd Party. If you have set it up as 3rd Party then the student contacts will have to have Allow Contact by 3rd Parties set to Yes (it defaults to No when you set up a new contact).  Please can your Head Teacher email support@scholarpack.com from their head teacher email address, requesting all Contacts 1 and 2 to have this set to Yes, our technical team can make this system change for you. You will need to ensure all new contacts 1 and 2 have permissions set to Yes in future for their data to transfer on this API.
