When I'm creating a user name for a staff member, it comes up in red and won't allow me to save. Why?

 

Question - When I'm creating a user name for a staff member, it comes up in red and won't allow me to save. Why?

Answer - This is because that username is already in use. Please choose another username in order to save this. 

This also means you may not have the correct role (System Admin) to be able to create logins.
