I can't make a member of staff inactive. The system wants to delete them?

 

Question - I can't make a member of staff inactive. The system wants to delete them?

Answer - When you change the Active from Yes to No it will automatically bring up the Red Button "Delete firstname/surname" in case you are needing to delete them in the process.  If you do not wish to delete this member of staff, simply click on the "submit" button.  The staff record is now inactive.

If you would like to remove them from the Census during this process, this can be done by clicking on the green text under the staff member's photo "firstname/surname will be included in the WorkForce Census" Click OK on the pop up to confirm.  The record is now inactive and excluded from Census.
