Some of our staff appear to have duplicated staff contracts under the one contract, how has this happened?

 

Question - Some of our staff appear to have duplicated staff contracts under the one contract, how has this happened?

Answer - This will be due to duplicated Staff Pay Spine Points. If you go to Admin>Personnel>Pay Spine Points and scan down the left hand column. Each number here needs to be unique, so if any additional ones have been created, causing duplicates, this will cause problems in the staff contract area if one of these numbers has been used. You can run the Staff Contract report (Reporting>Reports>Staff>Contracts) to see which pay spine points have been used. This will help you know if you need to relabel some spine points or you can delete them.
