Within the Classes module you should allocate teachers to classes in order for them to be able to view the markbooks. This is done via Admin > Classes > Add Teachers to Class
At the top of the page click onto 'Add Teachers to Class' and from the teacher drop down box choose a member of staff.
From the Year drop down box choose a single year or all years. A list of all available classes will appear. Click into the box next to the class or classes you wish to to assign to the chosen teacher.
You will see that the classes then appear underneath the title 'Current allocation of 'teacher'' to show that they have been assigned.
Once assigned, teachers can view and manage their classes through the My Subjects area.
Within here, teachers can choose a class and then a Mark book - either Formative or Summative for our new Steps Assessment or the purple mark book if still recording levels.
Teachers can also record other data in this area such as Effort and Attainment grades, Referrals, Rewards, Incidents and Detentions.
