Error 2280: A valid suspension or permanent exclusion reason(s) must be provided

This error will arise if incorrect data has been migrated from another MIS (Management Information System). The Suspension or Permanent Exclusion reason 'Other' is not available for use in ScholarPack since it was removed by the Department for Education.

You can record up to three reasons for any exclusion. 

1. Go to the student profile's Conduct Tab.
2. Click on Exclusions.
3. Under Reasons you will most likely find 'Other', which is not a valid reason on the dates entered.
4. Click on Edit for the Exclusions entry, to note all the available information provided (including any notes).
5. Click on Submit to return to the Conduct front page.
6. Delete this entry and then re-enter it using one of the available reasons.
7. Recalculate the Census to ensure the error has gone.
