SEN Reporting on SEN, SEN groups and SEN statements

There are three reports you can use for reporting on SEN:

  • Students with SEN
  • SEN group percentages
  • SEN statements - Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)

SEN

Reporting > Reports > Support (tab) > SEN

This Report lists all students who have a SEN provision entered on their student profile's Support tab: Add SEN Details to a Student Profile

The report will display the following:

  • Student Name
  • Year
  • Form
  • Aspects
  • SEN provision
  • Primary SEN need type
  • Secondary SEN need type
  • If student is on the Engagement Model
  • Notes
  • Funded Hours
  • Date of review

There is the option to include students with SEN Provision of N in this report.

If selected, the report will include those with 'No Special Educational Need' entered on the Support tab for monitoring purposes. 

The report will produce a table displaying columns relating to the report title.  

  • Clicking on the student name will take you to the student profile.
  • Any students appearing in red will be former students, if you have ticked to include them in the report.

All column headers can be ordered; simply click on the column header. To remove column data you will see a a bin icon in the column header to enable this.

To filter this data further each column header will have a text entry box where you filter results based on your query.

The information displayed can be exported as either a Word, Excel or PDF document.  You can also display the report as either Landscape or Portrait.

 

SEN Groups

Reporting > Reports > Support (tab) > SEN Groups

This Report creates graphical displays of information about the SEN pupils within the school.  It will show the Percentage and Numbers of SEN pupils in each year group, their attendance data and the number by year with one of the primary SEN descriptors.  It will also show their progress toward assessment targets and progress this academic year.  

Each table can be exported using the burger icon. Click on the horizontal lines in order to download the graph to a range of graphical formats

SEN Count  

This shows the number of SEN students by year group with a specific characteristic (SEN Support, EHCP, Pupil Premium and Summer Born).

SEN Percentages 

This will show the % students by year with a specific SEN characteristic.

SEN Attendance 

This will show the Attendance percentages for each of three specified groups (SEN, Non SEN, SEN & Pupil Premium combined)

SEN Groups 

This will show the number of students by year group with one of the Primary SEN Need descriptors.

SEN Assessment 

This will show number of students as a percentage on track to make their End of Key Stage target.

It will also show the amount of average progress made by year since the start of the academic year.
