In order to create CTF's in bulk for leavers it is a good idea to add the destination school first to the student. To add destination schools to the students please click here for guidance.
Once the destination school has been added to the required students go to Admin > Students > Export CTF > Full CTF.
Here select the destination school you wish to send the CTF to from the dropdown and click Choose. If you have off rolled the students already click to include Former Students.
Once loaded you will see a list of all students with this destination school assigned, you can then select specific students to include in the CTF or Check All to select all the students listed.
Once selected the Attendance Sessions ought to automatically be included, please check prior to generating the CTF. Then click on Generate Common Transfer File.
The file will load in the bottom left hand corner of your screen and will also automatically save to your downloads folder on your computer.
Please note if you do wish to open and move this file to somewhere else on your computer you may, but do not amend the file name as this is a DfE standardised name used to send the data on the S2S website.
If a destination school has not been added to the students yet you can still create a CTF. To do this please go to Admin > Students > Export CTF > Full CTF. Do not select the school you require from the dropdown, instead type in the school LEA, ESTAB and URN manually to the filters and select the year group of the students required and then choose. This will then list all students in that year group, and you can select the students you wish to be included in this CTF.
Once the CTFs are downloaded you can then send them via S2S.
