What is the Phonics Tracker?
The Phonics Tracker is a means of recording a students progress when assessed against the phonics screening check. It allows for six Phases of development and indicates whether a student is Working On or Secure at a particular level (the phonics phases are explained here). The Phonics Tracker will list all the student in the class and by using the date selector you can record a level on a particular date.
Once the Phonics Tracker is selected you will see the following.
You can then click on the appropriate Phase to set the level of achievement.
A report will then be available in Assessment Reporting showing each student position over each term.
