Students are not showing in my register in Home > Register but they do show in Manage Register, why is this?

This can sometimes happen where in Admin > Config > Core Set Up > Forms a form name or description has the & symbol.  To rectify this if you edit the form name to show and instead of & the students will show as expected in all registers.
