MTC Report to Parents
The MTC Report to Parents will default to reporting on Year 4 in the current year, the year the test was taken.
The report will display one line per student, providing their name, year and form, the fact that it is the MTC (Mathematics Multiplication Tables Check), with the result and meaning for the result (from the list below). This report is designed to be sent to parents.
School MTC Report
The School MTC Report enables you to report on the results for the year group who have taken the MTC (Mathematics Multiplication Tables Check); the test is taken in Year 4. The Year Taken defaults to the current year, but if reporting on historic years, you may change the year taken, alongside the corresponding student year group (to be the year group they are currently in). You may also run the report by specific cohort (e.g. SEN) or compare students within your configured dynamic or static groups (Group 1 and Group 2).
At the base of this report is a key to the possible outcomes.
Phonics Report to Parents
The Phonics Report to Parents is designed to be printed and sent to parents, with one line per student.
Select the year the test was taken (it will default to the current year), then select the student's Academic Year (the test is taken in Year 1, with the option of retakes in Year 2). The report can only be run for one academic year at a time.
The phonics mark will be given alongside the Phonics Assessment Outcome, with a key beneath to explain the outcome mark.
There are also some guides to parents about the value of reading for pleasure, and steps to improve independant reading.
The report can be downloaded at the top right of the page, and printed to be sent to parents.
Note: If you are running this report for Year 2 students and wish to show both their Year 1 and Year 2 Phonics marks, tick the box to show Multiple Results prior to running the report. The two sets of results and outcomes will then be displayed in the report.
School Phonics Reports
The School Phonics Report enables you to report on each student's Phonics results. The statutory Phonics Test is taken in Year 1, with the option to retake in Year 2.
The report will list the students who have taken the Phonics Test in the year selected, and year groups selected (hold down the control key to select both Year 1 and Year 2, to capture the retaken test results that year alongside your Year 1). Above the student table there is a row containing a breakdown of results (percentages) by cohort.
The report displays the student's current year group, the year group of outcome, the Outcome (Definitions within the report beneath the table), as well as the mark received.
