Unable to send emails using the Contact area in the student profile

If you aren't able to send emails using the Contact area of the student profile, it may be because you have not set a default app for emails. To fix this:

  1. go to the search bar at the bottom of the screen
  2. type "Default apps"
  3. choose the first result
  4. under Mail change this to something else such as "Mail".
