Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is paid by local authorities direct to schools. Its award is dependent on the application by parents of eligible children to their local authority, which will use the eligibility checking service to verify their application against benefits related data.   If a student is entitled to Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) this can be recorded in Scholarpack.

EYPP Criteria

Children are eligible to receive EYPP if they are in Nursery aged 3 or 4 years, receiving the universal 15 hours free childcare and qualify.

To view the full criteria for EYPP, please refer to the DfE website:

Record EYPP Entitlement

On the student profile's Extended Tab, under Further Information, you will find the area to record Early Years Pupil Premium.

You will also need to enter a reason for the Pupil Premium in this area, prior to saving at the base of the extended tab.

NOTES:

Early Years Pupil Premium is for nursery students only.  Those in Reception onwards, need to have it recorded as Pupil Premium.

Unfortunately at present we do not have an Aspect that shows Early Years Pupil Profile on the student front page.
