ScholarPack Onboarding Weeks 5 to 8

Here's a breakdown of what you can expect over the Post Launch (Weeks 5-8) part of your onboarding with ScholarPack.

How Does Onboarding work?

Each week, you'll get an email from our Onboarding Team with information, guidance and resources to help you get ready for your move to ScholarPack.

Your onboarding is an 8 week journey split into two parts, Pre Launch (weeks 1-4) and Post Launch (weeks 5-8). The Pre Launch phase is all about getting prepared and ready to go live with your new ScholarPack MIS. Once you get access to your ScholarPack site in Week 5, the onboarding team will be with you for a few more weeks to help guide you with getting up and running.

This week-by-week guide below will give you an overview of what's to come in Weeks 5-8, the Post Launch phase of your Onboarding. This guide will contain all the key information that you need to successfully prepare for your move to ScholarPack. Be sure to also check out our guide on what happens in the Pre Launch phase of your onboarding journey (weeks 1 to 4) if you haven't already.

 

Week 5

  • 1. Read the Set Up Guide

In this week you go live with your new ScholarPack site!

Your data will be ready and accessible, but to ensure that the go-live process is as efficient as your data, we have a few steps you need to complete before using ScholarPack. Our setup guide HERE is designed to guide you through the things that will add that personal touch to your site as well as how to share your staff credentials so they can get started with their new MIS!

It is important that you follow the guide, as this will help you take those first steps to get set up and ready to start using your new MIS. Once you are live with ScholarPack, make sure to stop using your old MIS.

  • 2. Get Logged in!

The project lead will receive all the information to get signed into your new ScholarPack MIS platform for the first time! 

  • 3. How to access your support!

For all functionality queries (the where, how and why), get in touch with our support team, who are the ScholarPack experts!

  • If your school is supported by Scholarpack directly, click the 'Contact Us' button in the top right of the Help Centre
  • If your school uses a Support Partner, please contact them. Click their name in the top right of your Scholarpack above the search box, for their contact details.

Alternatively, if you are supported by a 3rd Party (your Local Authority, 3rd party IT company, etc) you would contact them.

Something not look quite right? If so, you can get in touch with The Onboarding Team - click Contact Us in the top right of the Help Centre and select Onboarding, migration and moving to Arbor.

 

Week 7

Consider expanding your ScholarPack MIS (i.e Assessments, Parent App & Comms)

If you are considering any additional features that you would like to introduce to your MIS* (Of course, there is no right or wrong way to use ScholarPack and if you would like to stick to the basics - this is absolutely okay too!)

We have the following modules available that will take your MIS to the next level:

Assessment

- Track pupil progress throughout the year without switching between systems and spreadsheets, saving valuable time spent on admin. What’s more, by linking the assessment module with our core MIS, your pupil information is always up-to-date and ready to be analysed at any time.

Parent App & Comms

- The ScholarPack Parents app, along with the comms module, is the most effective way to communicate with parents, greatly reducing your SMS cost and eliminating time spent updating parents' details

 

*module additions subject to extra cost - if you would like to upgrade your package, please let us know and we can get our Account Managers to reach out and discuss this with you.

 

Week 8

Changing systems can be a difficult process, and it's important to take the time to reflect on what has gone well so far, and what challenges you've faced.

Take time to chat to your team about what they're enjoying about the change and what they need help with. Remember - you can switch MIS in a few weeks, but it takes time to realise all the benefits.
