This error arises when the information recorded for school type and phase are not consistent according to the DfE (Department for Education) guidance. This can be checked and amended in Admin > Config > Core Setup > School (then Edit). Alternatively click on your school name in the top right corner of ScholarPack.
Please check the valid combinations below as specified by the DfE:
- When phase is Nursery (NS) school type should equal: Academies (49), Maintained nursery (50) or Direct grant nursery (51).
- When phase is Primary (PS) school type should equal: First school 5-8 (1), First school 5-9 (2), First school 5-10 (3), First and middle school 5-12 (4), Infant school 5-7/8 (16), Junior school 7/8-11 (17), Infant and junior school 5-11 (18), First school 5-7 (42), First school 7-10 (43) or Academies (49).
- When phase is Middle (deemed primary) (MP) school type should equal: Middle school, 8-12, deemed primary (5), Middle school, 9-13, deemed primary (6), Middle school, 9-12, deemed primary (45) or Academies (49).
- When phase is Middle (deemed secondary) (MS) school type should equal: Middle school, 9-13, deemed secondary (7), Middle School, 10-13, deemed secondary (8), Middle school, 10-14, deemed secondary (41) or Academies (49).
- When phase is Special (SP) school type should equal: Academies (49), Special School (52) or Hospital special school (53).
- When phase is PRU/AP (PR) school type should equal: Academies (49) or LA maintained PRU/AP (54).
- When phase is All-through (AT) school type should equal: Academies (49) or All-through school (55).
