Attendance Concern Reports

You can report on attendance concerns for individual students, or by day .

Concerns by student

Go to Reporting > Reports > Attendance (tab) > Concerns by Student

What does the report display?

This report highlights students who have either one unauthorised absence recorded in the last 3 days OR students who have outstanding unauthorised absences since the start of the year.

  • Within the Details column you have the option to see the a students absence history. This will give details of both authorised and Non authorised absence with the date and session recorded.
  • The report will be produced in a tabular format displaying columns relating to the report title. Simply click on the column header to order the data or select the bin icon to remove the column.
  • The information displayed can be exported as either a Word, Excel or PDF document.  You can also display the report as either landscape or portrait.
  • The star on the report identifies a 'favourite' report. Click the star to toggle yes or no.

To filter this data further, each column header will have a text entry field where you can produce results based on your query, for text fields you can enter a string which will return all the data relating to that value. If the the field is an integer or a date range you are able to enter the queries, equal to (=), greater than (>) or less than (<).

The Show History will give more detail on a particular student.

Concerns by day

Go to Reporting > Reports > Attendance (tab) > Concerns by Day

The report will show those students with an attendance figure below a selected level and the days of the week that it applies. It allows you to identify absence trends on a daily basis. The first stage is to select the percentage figure below which you are interested in tracking.

  • The information displayed can be exported as either a Word, Excel or PDF document. You can also display the report as either landscape or portrait.
  • Names which are highlighted in red represent the students who are no longer on roll. The star on the report identifies a 'favourite' report.  Click the star to toggle yes or no.
